My Dearest Love

I wandered in the darkness
with only a candle lit in my heart.
Its desires burning for thou return
and for a word or stroke of thy pen.
Must I endure this loneliness?
Must I keep mine senses about me
knowing the dangers that lurk
before thee...

O' my dearest,
how mine ears would wish
to wake to the whispers of thy love
to the kisses of thy soft'ned lips
to the warmth of thy blanketed soul.

I await word from thee
as I sit in my chamber and reflect upon
the many shadows on these cold walls
reaching out to them
in the light of my darkness...I am

Forever, Your Lady

LadyOllyne~
I just love the nostalgia of old love-letters.
This made me think of finding a stack in a trunk -
tied with delicate ribboning of memories.

I wish I had read this before the Newsletter it would have been perfect for an article I'm doing on love letters. It's fabulous!

Tres bien! I love the classic style you write. It never goes out of style. Add to that strong emotions, and you got me hooked.

Merci, Sir Knight
Mine words are from a heart filled
with warmth and goodness and as
thee hast penned, emotions that shall
overflow, as the tide rises from the
pull of each moonlit night. If hooked
ye shall be, then grateful, shall I
    respond.

    A Lady Always,
    Ollyne
