If I were an artist, I'd use paints and brush To create a silhouete, together at dusk I'd paint my moods in pale shades of blue I'd draw my heart forever close to you I'd sketch your arms around my waist Make sure your fears were gone, erased I'd paint your mouth to meet my own I'd promise to never leave you alone I'd trace my hand to dry your tears Take all your doubts, erase your fears I'll never break the lines that bind This silhouette is yours and mine Together until the end of time |

I've done a whole series of silhouette rendering in both pen and ink and chalk pastels...and I also love to combine art metaphor into my poetry...so naturally, I did very much enjoy this...tender and touching. |

Lovely, lovely, simply lovely. I have a friend that collects silhouettes and I'd guess she'd love this to display with you antique pics. This is superb! Do you know what I mean by silhouettes? The are Victorian era pics under convex glass. |
