The Arrival For so long I have waited it seemed like an eternity Anticipation fired my emotion Longing filled my senses My Heart ached to be HOME Funny thing I never traveled Not in real time to speak but in my mind and dreams My desires left unfulfilled Something was missing My Heart ached to be HOME. As I reminisce about my life wondering often what it lacked Not quite figuring it out I was content and successful A good Mother and friend but My Heart ache to be HOME. The arrival of your friendship which has grown into our Love One that has made me journey Finding all that I have missed My Heart aches no more In your arms I am HOME. Todd, I dedicate this to you, My True Love. A house does not make a HOME. What makes a HOME is where the HEART is. And My Heart is with you.. Always, Forever and then some. |

What a nice conclusion to this poem! I'm surprised I didn't see it coming, because it is so very fitting. I'm glad you've found home. btw, my Mom is from Lunenburg County. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

hey you... nice to see your name here.. and very nice to see you writing of happy endings. Wonderful outpouring and dedication Heaven bound on wings of love, there's so much that you can rise above. I surrender heart and soul, sacrificed to a higher goal. ~DepechMode~ |
