Day Long Hands long and hard came the reflections in-between the up and down of the day soft and smooth should have been the flow of loving thoughts but short and swift were the moments interludes of time breathless left her breathless they came too fast left too quick myriad thoughts and pain pain hurts absent from body but renders the mind useless never seen but words touched then the heart broke pain hurts what does care look like feel like? I would put a stamp on care and send it direct bypassing hands straight to your heart if it would take the pain away from you if I could I would… long and hard this day has been long and hard and difficult of dream distant on the wind of keen I heard long the scream of scoria ~ suffering ~ seeking out the next victim and I went to see, to hear, to hold, to quietly listen, and all that could be offered was a helping hand 01.10.01 Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |
