In Compelling Want I am a soul in search of the answers That my heart desires to know the most, Why has love eluded me thus far? Is love and all it encompasses Have to be the realm in which I must reside In order to find true happiness? Man was not made to walk life’s paths In a state of oneness, Finding his journey never fully quenched Until he is complete in his heart, In union with another. I have fought in this direction fervently, In hopes of relief in my soul, but of no avail. I must state that it seems at times that fate In my behalf is lingering else were, Leaving me in compelling want. This inherent ache gives way to incompletion Fooling my senses with unhappiness and failure. Where is the line drawn in the metal capacities So an accepting compromise can be reached With your inner most self. Frugalness I commit my soul to, So as to maintain a temperate state, For finding love is still happenstance. In compelling want I still wait for the day of tendering, With temperate soul searching My heart longing towards delicate passion. By, Cerenity The new year has brought me to finishing up old work which this being one poem not finished and usually I write with feelings at the time and so im finding that im not sure if it sounds right, so if you have an opinion as to something better please comment. I at the moment in life am content and thankful. "God doesn't have to be reminded that we exist. We have to be reminded that He exist!" (Writer Unknown) |

It is hard to go back to an old write that is unfinished, and pick up where you've left off...but in this, you did just fine... |

Indeed it isn't my friend. . . but you've done well with this one. . . -------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Hi Sharon, Thank you for finding this and your kindness, sometimes the ones that don't make it off the work table have the need to be finished its just a matter of dealing with that certain emotion, I am at a point in my life were I feel I need to clean house sort of speeking, deal with the STUFF thats been hanging around cluttering the soul, it's working to, one thing is some of my unfinished poetry, the ones that are lingering in the mind, thanks again. Love, Cerenity |
