Hollywood Smile

Do you ever think of me when you have an idle moment free?
Yes I know you are a very busy girl and I know you are caught up in that Hollywood world.
Yet once upon a time I was yours and you were mine.
I loved you the moment you looked into my eyes and when you kissed me a million stars lit up the sky.
Yet even then I knew that our romance would probably be one quick dance.
Movie stars don't mix well with guys like me.
I suppose we never stood a chance but still we enjoyed a romantic opportunity
and Julia I have many idle moments when I think of how it used to be.
Yes I was your biggest fan and you know I still am
and if you ever need me to be there for you again Julia I can.
I'll always remember those wonderful evenings we shared together when you kissed me for minutes that seemed as hours.
Amazing how the short time we enjoyed together seemed like forever.
Those were the days of your sweet smile.
When you were my girl for just awhile.
Before you became that pretty woman in Richard's arms and I slowly fell out of style til sadly I lost you and your Hollywood smile.

Very nicely done. It's a shame she let you go. Money and fame are nice but a true love is worth a whole lot more.
