Caught In The Current
~*Marge Tindal*~

Sometimes it is a babbling brook
sometimes a stream that my tears took
sometimes a waterfall cascading
I navigate this river - sometimes raging

Upon it's currents I am tossed
reaching an ocean of emotion
where I am lost
upon the waves of deep despair
tossed on the shore
left lying there

Slammed again at tide's return
thinking that someday I will learn
The river of tears will always flow
where my memories want me to go

I hope I discover how to break free
before this river of tears drowns me

Until then ....
I'm treading memories

*This piece was inspired by a post by Daniel JD
entitled 'River Of Tears'
Thank you, JD~

I too, have been inspired by our Daniel, many times...and oh, I wish I could do this as gracefully!

I love ya much...and if ya don't stop writing this sweet? I swear, I will start calling you "mommy!" Winks and much love to ya, me "auntie marge?"  grins.

Marge, Marge, I love this, you just inspired me, and I'm already working on my 3000 posts. I don't have time for Christmas shopping
I love your poems, can never get enough.

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.

Many of your poems have struck me with their beauty - others their hope, their format = or imagination. This one struck so very close - it deserves my praise as it spoke directly to some current thoughts I'm struggling to convey - Thank you

Ahh my sweet friend, you do know how to capture the essence of emotions so well.  I loved the whole FLOW of this one as it has your signature on it and I MUST find Daniel's poem to see the wonderful work that inspired this piece.  I am sure this one itself will be the inspiration for many many smiles as those who find themselves in the raging current will now have something not only to relate to but also to find comfort in.  Hugs to you my friend.

I too, am leary of getting caught in the currents, but you'd have to expect that, me being an electrician, LOL. Good poem!

Another great piece Marge. You write so well of emotion and the soul.
