"Magic Things"

A swan gliding on a lake
A lover's embrace
Staying out late and sleeping in the next day
These are some magic things

Roses given by a lover
Poems from an admirer
Songs sung to her son from a mother
Winter snow, arts and crafts, pictures of a friend's joyous face
Those are things that can't be replaced and are magic things

Bees gatheing honey
Donating money to the hungry
A family that is affectionate and loving
You can find magic things every where you turn and look
I find magic in a book

Those who can cook, look at their creations
They are magic things
And trust me
They are as wonderful as they seem!

Very good, Lisa. The world is filled with magical things many times we just take for granted...you point that out very nicely...

Hey Lisa!  Great writing!  These are definitely some of my favorite 'magic' things, too!  Welcome to Passions.  You've made a very nice entrance, lil' ô¿ô!

This poem that you have penned Lisa
Comes from deep within your being
To see the world in the way you do
Truly is such a magical thing

Wonderful job Lisa, and a perfect message!

Lisa, this is a wonderful piece of writing from you. You obviously have as much talent as your sister. (No I won't compare you, I know exactly how that feels   ) I've got loads of sisters two older and three younger.     Very well done, excellant work
Take care
