...found this on my bookshelf, in an old AutoCad book. Don't know if I ever posted it in Passions and
the search functions kaput so here it is...

I would like to (trite as it may sound) dedicate it to all the wonderful women of Passions.  Without you, your insight and wisdom (and your poetry) Passions would be a sad place indeed.

Love you all...jimmy

Because Of You

When one sees
but never saw,
touches,
but never feels,
hears,
but only sound,
one knows life,
but doesn't live.
But when one loves,
it's with his soul he sees,
his heart he touches,
and his life he hears.
It's all the glory,
and the sorrow,
the joy's,
and the pain,
the fullness of everything
that has ever been.
I see,
I feel,
and I hear,
wonders beyond all I ever dreamed,
all I could ever want,
all I could ever need
and I love,
as I have never loved before...
because of you.

A beautiful tribute, indeed. Thank you so much!

~On a bookshelf? Did you say on a bookshelf? No no,...this one belongs right here, where I can see it, hear it, feel it. Beautiful are you and these words you offer. What a treat to come back to the forums and find this gem, this jewel, this treasure! *Peace you.

James,

This is wonderful writing.  So sweet and heartfelt.  All us ladies appreciate the men of Passions who help us make this place complete.

The first line is a spell binder..and the rest just sings!

Reminds me of a quote from the story "The Little Prince"--

"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisable to the eye."

(You'd have to kick start my brain for the author. sigh.)

You write with such delicacy...in whispers.

Just Beautiful!

Another splendid charm.
As a poet, I admire your delicate romantic-ness (if that's a real term, if not, well, it is now    )

jwesley,
How do I love this, let me count the ways
I love it for the way it spreads sunshine on my days
I love it for the way it paints so passionately
I love it, for it assumes, a nicer inner me
I love it for the way it makes emotion soar
I love it everyday, though my jaw is on the floor
I love it for the way it writes pure poetry
I love it for the way, it glows with flattery
at wonder Jim I stand in awe
just want to say more,... encore.
Keth

James
It seems it is a MAN who touches the women of passion with his wisdom and insight. Thank you for the dedication, dear poet, but it is also from you we learn and this simple but beautiful verse speaks to my spirit
