A Perfect Lover I've found the perfect lover, he's perfect in every way Never too tired to help me, he listens to all I care to say He's faithful and dependable, he really is an ideal treat I'd never find him with that floozy who lives down the street He compliments me continually, says I always look nice And later when it's the time for it, he brings his loving spice He's a prayer come true for me, he's this maidens delight I don't know how but he knows how to turn on my light Nothing is ever too much trouble and he makes me grin And as for the way he touches me it leads us right into sin So where did I meet this paragon, this so delicious one I'll tell you when my praise for him is over and done He's ever thoughtful, with little gestures of his loving care He warms my feet at night and the duvet he will fairly share In the morning when he gently wakes me with a cup of tea He understands that I'm grumpy and doesn't laugh at me The touch of his hand is heaven, he makes my soul shine And I'm estacitically delighted because this man is mine I'll tell you where I found him, this dream of mine come true He was where I hadn't looked before, he is a friend like you It's a strange coincidence that in the place I'd never sought My search was over even before I had really honestly thought A friend who is the perfect partner I couldn't ask for more A lover who is a friend and will never make my heart sore Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 11-17-2000).] |

Circe, now perfect is as perfect does so they say, and if only he'd come back from where he is now, then I'd be blissfully happy. I'm happy you like this one, one of my better ones I think. Thank you love Take care Mushy Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

Obviously there are at least 2 perfect lovers in your world Mushy. Him and you. Him because you say so...you because only a perfect love would be able to hold him. Wonderful. jwesley |

Jwesley, perfect me? I don't think so, I'm not the type to be perfect. I have faults in plenty, not least because I'm always jumping into things feet first. I'm pleased you like it, and thanks, I really mean it. Take care Mushy Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

He better take good care of you, or I'll have to come over and BOP him. Hugs, Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Now, now mushy, I didn't say perfect people...I said perfect lovers. There is a difference and a perfect lover is in the 'eyes of the beholder'. And two people who view each other that way are beautiful no matter their imperfections. Smile, my friend. jwesley |

Kari, Oh love, I'm sure if we can both be in the same place at one and the same time then everything will be perfect. Don't mind me, I'm still droopy. (I'll remember what the nuns used to try to drum into us. That when things seem hardest it's because you are being given a lesson from above. And it only seems hard because you don't want to learn.) Although I strongly suspect they were aiming the comments at our inability to go anywhere quietly. I did tell you I was a fairly wild teen. I'm pleased you liked it love. Take care Majestic Marsha Pepper, thank you, I truly thank you. And your work is wonderful, and outstanding I love it. Jwesley, Ahhh! Now I understand thank you, I did used to have a brain you know. But it's a law somewhere that if your work involves talking a lot you have to have it removed. And who am I to flout the law. Take care Mushy Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
