Morning, Morning

Morning, Morning;
how are you?

Do you plan to make my day
or must I make of you?

Will you just happen
to the life that today is mine?

Or must I plan and execute
a day I think is fine?

Getting up is just a start
in the realm of living well

Going about the day is prime
for whom will toll the bell.

Minutes tick away
as seconds run around.

Hours find their passing
as to the minutes bound.

So what might I do in you
oh day that I’ve been given?

What will be my rhapsody
on this life-side of heaven?
