the life outside sustains her even though the life inside rebels the life outside gives her strength gives her hope gives her love it carries her she has sought it her whole life the life outside loves her even though the life inside does not the life outside gives her care gives her warmth gives her peace it holds her like nothing she has ever felt the life outside enters her and takes the place of the life inside the life outside now fills her enters her heart and heals her it loves her and she loves it, the life outside now and always the life outside. . . --------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Hey--glad to be the first to applaud for hoot---one of the most talented writers of love poetry I've encountered. I applaud her with you, Sven! |

Ruth will never be a character...but a soul of great regard...her spirit always shines...I would like to call her "friend of mine..." Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Sven, Your heart is so full of honor and praise for others. What a kind man you are. Your words wrap their arms around the reader, and don't let go. Much love, Elise |

Sven, Wonderful poem for a very special lady. I must have missed this one before, but I am glad I found it now. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
