Heads huddled downwards~ Beaten by cold pounding rains~ Shivering numbness~ Getting wet feet at puddles~ Yearning for elusive snow |

kaile, Want to trade?? LOL. It is freezing cold here. Too cold to snow at the moment I believe, but we already had a dusting earlier this week. Nice tanka. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

You can have our snow, too. You're going to be snowed in! Nice tanka. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

kaile, I love this. Excellent tanka. It makes the reader feel the shiver and coldness of the moment sharply. Very well done. Poeminister "...no single sound too rude upon thy slumber shall intrude, Our thoughts, our souls- O God above! In every deed shall mingle, love." -Poe |

Yes, like I guess, this is the December monsoon season in Singapore. It's the Christmas season, and everyone in the northern hemisphere is experiencing snowy white winter. What we have in the equatorial region, is something that is almost as cold as winter, but just sadly, not as white. _,,,^.^,,,_ |
