A dominant volcano
threatens to erupt

irritated,
frustrated,
i travel the world
with my fingers,
reading heart-woven words
from friends,
oozing with
warmth and concern and love

the tiniest crack
of a smile
plays on my lips

the domineering headache recedes...

Ah, kaile, it is always a joy to read your work. Powerful, yet compacted, and this is just yet another one that makes me respect and admire you as a poet

I have to agree with the masses on this one.  Yes, I believe that we all have felt like this and you have penned it beautifully.  Superb piece of penning.

Kaile~
So very nice to see your muse hard at work.

Sometimes, even the volcano eruptions can be
seen in the poetry of some.
But, oh what a display !

Wonderful thoughts here.

Kaile,
Dynamic use of images to express how you feel, very well said!

It opens worlds where dreams reside, some real, some fantasy, all alive, vivid, beautiful, real, even if only for a time.

Yep, guess I agree.
