A trusting simple spirit ran, Full trusting to the night, Caught upon love's dire need, And the harshness of the light. The night that offered solace, Once held that intimate power, Now on her knees to the ground, Love's bottom left to scour. Racing time with heart for sale, Did love in purest way, Now moonlight settles on her lips, Full told story, dawn of day. If you ever you glimpse this spirit flitting, Trust not her broken heart, For lovers came and went too soon, Same ships at same time, depart. Can I be your willful breeze, Come to touch, Your heart to ease? |

broken hearts heal by the light of moon hearts that yearn to sing again love's tune and, as ships do so often sail into night so shall her heart be healed by moon's purest light. . . wonderful Temptress. . . wonderful. . . --------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
