Reflection of my Soul

Looking in the mirror, while facing my reflection,
looking in my eyes ejecting my expression,
seeing my entire soul in the inner of my eyes,
that shows all the sadness, from my heart that still cries.

I know I must be strong, as a mother and as a wife,
guide my loved ones, with all my love in their life,
but when they repay my love with sorrow and pain,
and hurt my heart, it makes me feel so insane.

There's no one around, where I can be just myself,
I try to be strong, cover my feelings under a shelf,
Oh please help me Lord, cause I'm so involved in my smart,
Buried in sorrow overwhelming my heart.

Looking in the mirror, looking myself in the eyes,
trying to hide my feelings, but my eyes still can't lie,
I must try to find my strength, my smile and my faith,
will be there for my loved ones, cause life doesn't wait.

Life doesn't wait but neither does love and when it comes knocking on your door I am sure it will find a heart so pure and willing to give of itself that it will never leave.  You keep looking in that mirror because from what I see, there are some pretty beautiful things in that reflection of yours.

Charisma~ I'm sorry you haven't had more weekends like that......my parents have just moved close enough to babysit for me, 6 months ago.......I still don't get very many weekends alone with my husband, but when I can get them, they heal me.....I hope you can get one soon!   -SEA
