The Pearl

A grain of sand in an oysters shell
Vexes the mind and body as well.
But from within irritations knurl
Appears the jewel of a lustrous pearl.

The happenstance is by lowly chance
From the macabre of a circumstance.
Molded within this pain of apses
Is the smallest kernel of success.

Processed by a calloused protection
Some anger and some of affection.
Survives in echoes consistency
Producing a wondrous poignancy.

I gaze in wonder this velvet bright
Reflecting the sun in softest light.
The horror erupting from a cyst
Be the root of marvelous harvest.

It's a lesson in life that we must learn.
There is a price entrust for every earn.

I shall remember this, and just acknowledge that I am performing the artistry of the creation of my own necklace...

and always shine, regardless...

thank you for this Sy...

and with every pearl of wisdom you pen ...
yet another bead for me necklace of you ...
to be worn close to me heart

No one ever told me ... I could get lost while standing still ...
and sorrow doesnt make a sound ... as it takes away all your will.

Sy,
Indubidly...the pearl at the end of the tunnel.  Beautiful write.  And it goes into my library.

take care,

A pearl of its own, this.
Like your style, S.T., and your choice of subjects.

Excellent piece for your theme...a stone must go through quite a bit to become a pearl.

Right now I can't recall just what a pearl is at its beginning, it seems like it is just some sand or something as mundane.  Then it goes through much and is born of an crusty looking creature of lackluster.

Enjoyed the read!
