There comes a time for love
To put a smile on your face
There comes a time for peace
When we will all live in one place

There comes a time for happiness
Unlike any we’ve ever known
There comes a time for patience
More than we have ever shown

There comes a time for strength
Where burdens on us are many
There comes a time for forgiveness
These times will number plenty

There comes a time for sadness
When sorrow rules the world
There comes a time for wisdom
So that we won’t become unfurled

There comes a time for tears
Streaming on down our cheek
There comes a time for discovery
When we find that in which we seek

There comes a time for friends
Who will fill our lives with love
There comes a time to pray
To God in heaven above

There comes a time for charity
Helping those who are in need
There comes a time for thankfulness
For all of our good deeds

There comes a time for mercy
Towards those who’ve done us wrong
There comes a time to sing
Our life’s own special song

There comes a time for letting go
Of those that we love most dear
There comes a time for remembrance
Knowing they will always be near

Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats

There is a time for everything and you have covered the bases well in reflecting that.  This was a wonderful creation from you and so very insightful and filled with much truth.  I really am glad that I was here to read this one.

LW,
there comes a time when one must
say what she/he feels to someone. my
time has now come. this touched me very
deeply. the ending was simply beautiful.
packed full of your huge heart. i have
always since first reading your work
connected to it on many levels. and now
after all this time, i still do. thanks
my friend
