I wonder when in the golden years of life will you still love me..the way you love me now? will you care how many wrinkles? will be adorned upon my brow should i just discard the pictures? of yesterday's naive youth and forget the once flawless skin and get drunk on sweet vermouth the soft skin, full lips the bright eyes i once had, that first attracted you to me will i hide in the shadows so no one will turn away will you still love the lady from untouched photos of yesterday will your love be deep, deep beneath my skin deeper than the ocean in love with my toothless grin love is blind to many things blind to imperfections like a flaw in a diamond ring i suppose we lose our eyesight as we get older for a reason so the lines of lifes travels will add a touch of season do i really want him to get laser surgery? i don't think so anymore but i will get it for him so i can be the same girl he adores they say women don't notice mens flaws because they are too busy trying to be the perfect woman he loved before a man does not have to worry about a youthful appearance Or work out at the gym he is too busy assuring her she is still beautiful and slim A poem is never finished, only abandoned. - Paul Valery (1871-1945) |

Ahhhhhhhhh but we do worry my friend, we just don't tell about it nor admit it. Some of us just don't know about it. Now don't go changing ANYTHING about you through surgery. It won't change the real you anyway and that is the you that any SMART man would want. Wonderful piece from you my friend. |

Oh Victoria, down deep in your heart, you will always be the sweet Victoria we know and love. The greatest beauty is on the inside, and the words that bleed from your hearts pen are so very beautiful and loving. Thank you for sharing, my friend! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
