Scarlet Ribbons
~*Marge Tindal*~

Tucked away softly in sachet
petals of rose in soft array
Scarlet ribbons of the child
residing deeply in my memory
In the attic of my heart the
breath of love that once was
Scarlet ribbon of my keeping
wears her tiny seeds of love

Beautiful Marge
I like to rumage through the attic now and again too
The treasures hidden there can sparkle brighter than any diamond
No matter where we keep our attic

Have you been reading in that poetry book of yours again my friend or is this just simply you being your magnificant self again.  The images you painted were splendid my friend.  Maybe I need to do more reflection in my poems instead of love..........NAHhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I will leave that up to you.

MarkB~
Oh~ My friend~
This one came straight from the heart~
drenched in the scent of roses.
Love and nostalgia go hand in hand, my friend,
so I think we've got it covered.

Kit~
Doesn't surprise me at all that you
would take a nostalgic walk with me, my friend.
Thanks so much for the reply.

Beautifully written... with voice of golden nightengale, she pens of satin rose...
memories of once agoes,  on us her charm bestows...
btw... liked the poem muchly.
