I'm in love with loves dance
I'm not in love with you
I need this fine romance
To help to see me through
I have to take a chance
It's the one thing, I must do
But I'm in love with loves dance
I'm not in love with you

I'm in love with flirtation
I don't really care for you
Complimentary situations
Can prevent my feeling blue
The soar of this temptation
Will make me glow anew
But I'm in love with flirtation
I don't really care for you

The softest sigh, a glance
Can make my heart swoon, true
And tender words perchance
Will lift me up, with wings for you
I'm craving for romance
A love to see me through
But I'm in love with love's dance
I'm not in love with you

Sven,
I'm in love with love but it's all in my head! *laughs*

Marge,
snap, it's the magnetic flux! loved your "waltz of romance" I might give that a spin if I can find someone to dance with.

Irish Rose,
I get into trouble with flirting too, it's half the fun , would that they were someone to flirt with me. *s*

Marsha,
given that you loved my Rumbly, Tumbly Song, I'm not surprised you loved this. Raise your standards girl! set your sights on things above, thanks for loving it, it was a little whimsey that got caught in my flux.

Be well
Keth

Wonderful Kethry! The concept is superb ... and so very often true, "to be in love with love's dance" ... absolutely and unequivocally loved these thoughts!

Best wishes,

Kethry love, I'll have you know that my tastes are superior in every way. (About the only thing I got from schooling love, was the ability to kneel at the drop of a hat, along with the ability to see beauty. Oh and to walk around with a book on my head, and a very odd version of history. But excellant taste in the arts.
So trust me kid, when I say it is beautiful I know it is.
Take care love

And your Rumbly Tumbly Song was wonderful love. I told you I have taste.

Sy,
thank you for the Wow, it's a compliment coming from you. And just for that...
we play the lover's game
forget about the pain
we get when love is lost
when we must bear the cost
the game is all in all
it lift's us, stands us tall
but people crash and burn
as from the game they learn
when never quite the same
when we've played flirtation's game.
( I'm not doing smileys, I hate the hat

Kit,
that the master weaver should compliment my work Wow!

Marsha,
you do have taste, true! But it's utterly and completely overshadowed by your faith and loyalty.   As for walking with a book balanced on your head that's your deportment!

Poeminister,
Thanks for stopping by and commenting, any friend of Poe's is a friend of mine.

Nuts! I really thought it was me...and now you tell me it's just for the thrill of romancing me and not really me at all. This is a crushing disappointment that will be hard to overcome. I shall now sulk for 3 hours and 42 minutes

lol.You forgot to add seconds, so when your sulk is over come back for seconds, I'm  sure you can convince me to drop my delusions and be in love with you.

Isis,
Thanks for stopping by.This is so much better than my Rumbly Tumbly Song, although the feelings are much the same, funny that!

Kethry,
So beautiful and heartfelt. I think so many of us are "in love with being in love".  Sometimes the fantasies are so much better than the reality.  Lovely.

JM lol
loved your ditty
'twas so witty
a man with tight pants
my idea of romance
but they all get so cut
when you look at their butt
so I'll take my chance
be in love with romance.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
(it's not like I need help with manic write)

Athena4,
thank you for responding, for me fantasy IS my reality.

Kethry love, loyalty I may have in abundance, but since I can still do a critique love. (I can Kari taught me, watch and learn   )

This piece of yours is composed with the lightest of touches, it has the flow of a river, moving in an undulating stream that effortlessly takes the reader with it. And it is a fine and delightful piece.

There a fabulous critique, I should get an A for that love at the very least.

Deportment, I love it, you won't scoff when I'm the only one walking around with a straight back and everyone else is hunched over.   I'll be as graceful as a swan.
Take care kid

(sigh) Yes, I have that feeling right now too. I am "lovesick in the longing for love", and I have had no luck yet finding my girl. But you will find true love outside the lust and pain, and you will swoon with his beauty. Thank you for sharing, my friend!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Mistletoe Angel,
I think 'lovesick' is the correct word in that we swoon over the ideal of love, but forget that relationships are made up with fragile, human and very real people. Sometimes the dream is better than the reality *SiGH!* Here endeth the lecture.lol

I really liked this...     Almost like I could see someone(wish it could be me)  standing face to face and saying this..   I also liked your reply to MA.....

that we swoon over the ideal of love, but forget that relationships are made up with fragile, human and very real people. Sometimes the dream is better than the reality *SiGH!*

Made much sense to me as I know too well,  sometimes the dream is better than the reality..Yep, I liked this, much.   ~LL~
