Gypsy eyes of blue,
did you know how I missed you?
And did you miss these Gypsy eyes of green?
Time has come and gone,
but the friendship lingers on...
Two Gypsies traveling down the Road of Dreams...

Gypsies take a chance,
every time they start to dance...
Sometimes the music pushes to extreme...
Though tight a Gypsy’s grip,
still, they have been known to slip...
And fall together, off the Road of Dreams...

But catch themselves they will,
just before they taste the thrill...
of love’s desire burning...’til it seems...
They must let go to be,
ever quick and ever free...
To keep on traveling down the Road of Dreams...

So, I will look at you,
into your eyes of blue...
And say that you are still my Gypsy King...
And friends we’ll always be,
both unchained and always free...
Living life upon the Gypsy Road of Dreams...

Oh Gypsy eyes of blue,
how I loved to read this through,
I saw gypsy's like I've never before seen!
This read has come and gone,
but this poem lingers on,
Two Gypsies traveling down the Road of Dreams...

I Love it Sunny!
Bravo!!!!!!!

Sunny!

A vagabond love, a passing affair
And Sunny remembers. Sunny's been there.
And  now it comes back with deeply felt sighs
For the vagabond love and the vagabond eyes!

You knew I'd "peek" in to catch this, and be all the better for it!  Wonderful write!

I love the theme and blue eyes are irresistible any day of the week aren't they?

~~~ hi Irie ~~~
I am glad to have given a wee bit of 'insight' into the philosophy of freedom, which literally is the Gypsy.  Thank you so much for traveling a while with this one!!
~~~ hi Stan ~~~
Yes...a vagabond life is in my blood, from ancient heredity, and I love the freedom of the road.  Thank you for sharing with me!!

~~~ hi Sunshine ~~~
I was hoping you would 'peek' in, as it is always so good to have the sun shine on my thoughts!!  I do believe I have detected the gypsy in your soul, many times!!
~~~ hi Kathleen ~~~
Oh yes.....nothing can melt the heart faster than a soft and gentle pair of blue eyes, especially if they're Irish!! Ha!!   Thank you for saying hello today!!

~~~ hi Butterflies ~~~
Good morning to you!  As a butterfly, you already know the feeling of pure freedom, and fly always down the road of dreams!! So good to see you here today!!
~~~ hi catalinamoon ~~~
Do you think this road of dreams could lead to a poetic coffee house on the Northern California coast?  Dreams sometimes come true if you stay on your chosen road!!

~~~ hi 'V' ~~~
Oh yes.......to be human is to have a dream, and I am happily guilty of both!!   Thank you!!
~~~ hi Paula ~~~
