You Are a Twist on I Am You are the desire in me... the love that I crave. I wonder what it is that you see in me, that has not been viewed by others. I hear in each of your breaths, a sigh of longing. I see you, your hand in mine, walking under moonlights veil, come dark. I want what you want, only it doesn't come easy for me. You are the desire in me... the love that I crave. We pretend that there is a future, when there is only now. To feel tomorrow's pull, tugs at my heart tonight, weeping each yesterdays end. I touch the mirror of you, each time I look into my own eyes. I worry that you feel you are my "escape". I cry at that thought, wishing you knew it not to be true. You are the desire in me... the love that I crave. You understand that tomorrow cannot be controlled. You say you believe in me, wishing the best for me, even if it doesn't include you. I dream that it would... You try very hard, making time for me, each second prolonged, mine wanting to savor. To hope, is all that I have left to hold onto. You are the desire in me... the love that I crave. ~Wynter < !signature--> "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 01-07-2001).] |

Kethry...as you can see I am up way past my bedtime (almost 2 a.m. here) I have been wanting to write this all day...but was too busy trying to finish painting my thoughts on my walls again..and covering my tracks with carpeting on my stairs, gold leafing my archways...and various other mind numbing activities to get me through these days...but finally I had this quietness, except for the humming sounds of my brain at work... thank you for reading, and I am enjoying your words tonight before I retire... ~Wynter< !signature--> "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 01-07-2001).] |
