Please Forgive Me

Please just forgive me, you softly say
And I reply just as softly with, nay
Your puzzlement reflects in your eyes
Why no, echoes your sorry sigh
There is no sin to forgive or forget
With no crime there is debt

I hurt you so, your eyes tell me
And I answer just as tenderly
It was my fault I misunderstood
I didn't listen, as I should
There is no hurt, there is no pain
Come once more love me again

I said so many hurtful things to you
And I respond now that's not true
For I love your voice far too much
I heard no words, just felt their touch
There is no anger, there is no shame
This is all a part of lovers' game

How can you still feel love for me
And I whisper my love will ever be
But how when I've done all this
And I reply with a simple kiss
There is no end to this my lovers heart
My love will never ever depart

Marsha

I'd say it worked very well and I enjoyed the content very much...great to experiment with these different styles...you have lots of great pictures and ideas to go with a good vocabulary, so these styles should intrigue you quite a bit Marsha...and you're asking Sunshine who is really one of the best at it...and this one is great!!! have a nice day...ethome

Marsha,
does an angel need to be be forgiven
living in a world that's torn and riven
should we forgive a love that's clear
and surrounds throughout the year
should you forgive humanity
for trying to rise and live free
no forgivenes needed and none given
for the taste and touch of heaven.

Mushy my how you've grown. On you, less is definitely more, and more is more also.
Write on, be strong
Kethry

P T love, thank you for that compliment, again I really don't think I deserve praise because I'm just playing with a few different styles. Kari is being very patient with me, and you know I do tend to try the patience of a saint. (Which she is of course)
Thank you muchly love, and yes I am trying to have a bit of fun with it. It is too easy for me to stick with the forms I'm most comfortable with.
Take care love

Kethry love, thank you sweetie, that is far too kind of you. I'm trying which is all I can say, (I know very trying   )

The shorter style of your lines in these verses works greatly my friend.  You are learning well and I for one don't think you really needed any more help than putting your mind to it.  Excellent write.

Mark my friend, thank you so very much, It is thanks to Kari's endless encouragement, that I tried this. It is always a case of deciding that I should try something different, and then saying do it now. I do indeed thank you for you have always encouraged me to try to extend my reach. I must admit that it was a challenge to cut my style down by an awful lot. Paring away the excess as it were.
Anyway thank you most sincerely for your constant encouragement.
Take care

Kari love,
Does that me I can have a gold star for effort   or do I have to do some more love?

I'm only teasing love, as you know, thanks as always love
