I made you soup
You would not eat
It's salted with my tears

I gave you love
You could not meet
It's salted with my tears

I made a life
You would not live
It's salted with my tears

I gave you wounds
You dare not give
They're salted with my tears

I made you hope
You did not try
So salted with my tears

I gave you all
Now give goodbye
And salt it with my tears.

way cool Keth ... great use of metaphor
the repetative lines worked perfectly in this
it reads lyrically

who loves me with the innocence of a child.

Kethry love, this is absolutely perfectly wonderful. It is all I was saying before about talent, and there is the proof of the pudding. Utterly poetic perfection

Yes, salt also seasons us and I think that sometimes we forget that.

Keth I know how hard it's been but maybe the tears won't end up wasted...maybe you'll be free and thinking new and jumping with joy with a new love....never know!

in the meantime!!!

Keth don't walk out on our date now! I'll make the whole picnic if you like and I'll even carry you from the car to the shady spot under the tree but don't stand me up I just couldn't take it!

May I say that I really enjoyed this? I love the idea you had with salt by tears.  A very sad, but excellent poem.
