I made you soup You would not eat It's salted with my tears I gave you love You could not meet It's salted with my tears I made a life You would not live It's salted with my tears I gave you wounds You dare not give They're salted with my tears I made you hope You did not try So salted with my tears I gave you all Now give goodbye And salt it with my tears. Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. |

Kethry love, this is absolutely perfectly wonderful. It is all I was saying before about talent, and there is the proof of the pudding. Utterly poetic perfection Take care kid Slushy Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

Yes, salt also seasons us and I think that sometimes we forget that. "Every man dies. Not every man truly lives." Braveheart Kathleen |

Keth I know how hard it's been but maybe the tears won't end up wasted...maybe you'll be free and thinking new and jumping with joy with a new love....never know! in the meantime!!! Keth don't walk out on our date now! I'll make the whole picnic if you like and I'll even carry you from the car to the shady spot under the tree but don't stand me up I just couldn't take it! |

May I say that I really enjoyed this? I love the idea you had with salt by tears. A very sad, but excellent poem. Can I be your willful breeze, Come to touch, Your heart to ease? |
