Listening to every heart

Touch the Keys

black and white
sit alone
and separate

until you

touch the keys
like dipping fingers
into milk
and slowly, tenderly,
making breeze

touch with me

feel the ease

slowly glide your gifted hand
across the keys of life
pick me up and lift me in
and ease me of all strife

touch with me

fingers that carry
the stained and strained, carry
refrain
accomplish the gain

zephyr along the gift of day
long into the night
Rachmaninoff me away

touch me

and hear the music

touch me

and feel the notes

touch me

see what you've wrought
deep within your wrote

touch me
like the keys of bone

touch me
unlock the stone

touch me
to be yours alone

touch me

candlelight shall grace the gift
of the music of your lift

touch me

and in the silk and satin day
touch me as you shall play
Tschaikowsky me in E flat waltz
and play me never false

touch me

fingertips dipped in cream
under light of moon light's beam

and in this touch of E
in the key of me

a rhapsody
sublime

in the song
of
Karilea

Kari love, that is incandescent, utterly wonderful it really is. Truly you are an enchantress.
Marvelous and I love it of course I do

VERY sensual, candlestick melting material is this.

touch the keys
like dipping fingers
into milk
and slowly, tenderly,
making breeze

As a friend of ours would say.... "you're way so cool" this is a real gem floating from music to poetry and back again...beautiful.. and you had to get Rachmaninoff in there didn't you...I don't know whether the great Russian has ever met his match..I am in awe of him...totally...powerful, intense, complicated.....oh this was great Karilea and you know what...I'm going to have to think about that Karilea song...hummm!
