Virginia Salter the stars are out and blazing at least I think it’s true on faith I stand that they’re still there though shrouded in clouds from you the gray you’ve placed upon my heart with tears trickling down it’s hard to see the day’s true start when laden in this frown dancing and prancing go those who are else wise leaping, not sleeping capturing the prize I, somehow, recall such times so spent in glee and revelry yet, now those times are harshly rent and are naught but reverie though sadness and gloom would seek to destroy it will be my victory to look forward unto joy so let not such sorrow overtake your gladsome smile just pray for me, as I shall thee, and abide with me awhile © January 1, 2001 be it known that this is not my state of affairs, but merely contrived |

good thing it's contrived..and I liked this verse, I, somehow, recall such times so spent in glee and revelry yet, now those times are harshly rent and are naught but reverie ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |
