In the winds of Cherokee song

Please Mr. D.J. ...

Please Mr. D.J. ... a never ending song would be best
A slow tender melody so that I may pull her close to me
As I gaze into her eyes with her one hand on my chest
Our legs entwined as we lose ourselves in it's eternity

Give it some bass to match the pounding of our hearts
Along with some treble to bring our souls to their height
Smooth out the rhythm to caress us deep as this one starts
Add an angels voice to lift us into the stars of the night

Please Mr. D.J. ... bring me a song that will see no end
One to taunt her heart and bring on a starry eyed gaze
Turn the lights down low to set up that romantic trend
Pump in the fog so we can get lost in a new love's haze

I need a song of seduction to caress the smile on her face
Soft lyrics of music mesmerizing her to leave her no choice
A stirring harmony of notes bringing her to my soft embrace
Bring to me tonight riding the wind ... a song of passions voice

Please Mr. D.J. ...

Mark Bohannan

The beauty resting in the promise of our dance is what will forever keep me on the floor.

My sweet romantic friend~
And may the voice of passion
be all you want it to be - and more.

You've outdone yourself with this one, Mr. MarkB~.

Loving you and wishing you the stars of the night
to catch you two in their glow.

You'll be all the seduction she needs. *giggle*

Happy New Year, my friend.
You know my heart will be with you.
Don't forget to check your jacket pocket,
cause I'll be there for one angelic dance.

Love ya'
~*Marge*~

Smiling here Mark ... this is splendid! You've woven these beautiful words so delicately, they simply danced across the screen. Beautiful writing my friend, and I wish you much happiness with this lovely dance partner!

Best wishes for a Happy New Year!

PS ... Please forgive me for not meeting that last poetic challenge ... I couldn't do it Mark ... and I tried (that scared me)! I promise to do better next time to make up for it, LOL!

Mark my friend, Utterly wonderful I can hear the music it's one brilliant piece. I shall be dancing through my tears to this. No I won't I won't have any tears, they can't wash anything away, so I'll smile and go on. The song will play and I will dance. Fabulous work it really is
Take care

Marsha-Thank you my friend.  I know how them late night parties can be but I am sure you will recover in a month or so.  Shed them tears...get them over with.....then go tell your boss that things this year will not be so strict.  I know that isn't easy sometimes but someones gotta tell him.

Hey Mark this is so clever...I'm going to do an in depth search for that DJ I know he's out there floating through the heavens with a never ending love song in his library! I'll trap him with an ad placed in the Heavenly Daily Times

WANTED: experienced DJ to play a neverending love song for man with a cup that runneth over with love! PLease respond immediatly as soulmate's heart needs to be wooed into the peaceful wonder of his heart. renumeration: the satisfaction of cultivating true love. Please call 1 800 new love

I think that will do it ...I'll get right on it right away.....take care....cupid's potbellyed merry helper!

JM- Thanks my sweet friend.  How does it feel to wear that blonde wig?

ethome-Thank you so much kind sir.  She is a very dear friend to me and I appreciate the ad.  Made me smile and even chuckle a bit.  My cup do runneth over in friendship for her and though it may be a bit early for calling it love, I do know that I would give all that I have to her just to see her smile.  Thank you again my friend and if you get any responses to that ad please let me know.

Please Mr. D.J.
The lights are turned down low
And now you're playing
Something soft and slow
He stands there waiting
His eyes speak of romance -
But Mr. D.J.
I never learned to dance!!

Sorry, Mark... I loved your poem... but I couldn't resist. *G* (My blonde can't be conveniently packed away in a wig case... and the brat can't even be captured! *G*)
