Listening to every heart

Gift of Hand

palm up, take my hand
for this promise of grand dreams
entwine then our hands

and if you were
to believe in me,
what treasures will
we uncover…

like Adam and Eve
anew to the sense
of love's first kiss
would we know
then Eden's bliss…

all gifts I would gift to you
for I see pleasure in
your smile, I see
walks of many
miles, I see
fantasy

in the gifts I
give to thee

bless me with your
smile, take me in
your embrace,
grant me the kiss of
you, from your
princely face

thus is your gift
you give to me

tender touch of hand
strength in tender, love's command
merciful, love's touch

chide me not for
these my dreams
but carry me forth
on tides of beams
bear me up to the clouds
transport me to the
land of proud

for you would have
my all of me
this I give you
most graciously
cans't thou see
the truth of me
in these thy words of
love

Ah my dear, dear
heart, come and take
my hand, 'tis reaching
for you, cross this
chasm wide
nay I cannot hide
this smile on my lip
nor not feel thee with
this my fingertip

when

palm up, take mine hand
for a promise of dream, grand
entwined forever

Very interesting form and languaging.  A mixture of historical tongue and contemporary.  Is this an identified form, or is it like one I tried, to denote a conversation between two.

It is so nice to hold our loved ones hand that is freely offered and dream the dreams of only love puts forth.

Kari love, can I? This is awesome it really is. Didn't I say you are growing moment by moment. And it's wonderful to see love it really is. I love it, it's truly scintilating.
Utterly you, pure Sunshine.
Take care love

inot2B, it most certainly is, thank you...

JM, you are not OLD enough to remember "groovy"...but if you say so, then I accept, with 'open hands'...thank you dear...

'Deer, if I am gracing your library shelves, then perhaps I am finally doing something right...you have all taught me many wonderful things, and one of the most important of them, is to be honest with your feelings, and  let them come out through our pen...thank you...

Passions Voice, I love your pen name...and I blush at your comment, and appreciate it much...thank you...

Marsha...today I found "The Library Shakspeare" Millenium Edition...perhaps with a bit of research and serious reading, I might really do it right someday...and I know for a fact, you'll be watching!  Thank you love...
