Well I've been reading here for days
and smiling, laughing too
I see there are some "come on" pieces
wonder if they're true!

I've read a flirt, and roses, and a cowboy who is sweet
it fills my mind with words I can't explain
It seems this forum is a thriving place and a retreat
and believe me, I could use the break from pain.

We all have masks and words that we sometimes hide behind
but I feel that you poets are sincere
you seem to be a gallery of writers who are kind
and I thank you all for wrapping up my year!

Lana

Lana,
what a lovely way to wrap up your thanks, I hope you stay a while and write lots more.

Lana, a belated Welcome to Passions!  There IS a lot of kidding and joking around here...but a lot of us see the real of us, and in that we share compassion and knowing.  Many of us have become good friends, but one thing I know for sure, the circle is ever-widening and will encompass you and others as you join the ranks of Passions...

I hope you know many good times, and share with us as you want, the poetry that swells within you...

speaking of beautiful names..Lana...
you will enjoy it here,

there are many moods
and many swings,
but the words of the poet
will always sing
and entertain in darkest days
to try that smile
on your face, to raise...
so come on in
let YOUR words share
and you will find
much comfort and care

in passion's place...

Happy New Year, Lana
