Give me a Reason

So give me a reason to shine
and I will give you life
and love and reasons
to live again and
live on in all
memory for
eternity is
yours

and another gift you might
bring to me is snow ~
more snow and then
one more crystal
star so that I
might bright
the world
today

see

I
can
make the
grayest day
shine in the love
of light if you were
to just listen and think
'why, I can give her snow
if only in a crystal water ball"

I
will
do the
impossible
and cause sets
of smiles to crease
your face with embrace
of the warm, warm scene
of snow under sunlit beams
and melt the sorrow from your face

so do not harbor
nightmare scenes
but glimpse me in
those loving dreams
and behold me in the
dark of night, a vision
of tomorrow's light
as I shall bring you
love

I'll bring snow in crystal glass
