When I die I want to feel the look of your eyes I want their touch warming my soul’s core The caress of your soft hands even more And pray even beyond to hear your sighs You beyond all have made me who I am You will live and you’ll be in my dreams I’ll need you to visit the beach scenes As we did when once we crunched the sand No reason for you to struggle or strive We’ll have eternity; you’ll hear my poem And I’ll watch you where e’er you may roam I want you to bask in my love and to live I’ll feel your love, and the soft of your hair Know our love will live, that I’ll always be there Great souls have wills; feeble ones have only wishes. ~ Chinese Proverb ~ |

Somehow, someway, although He promises us so much in His Kingdom, I somehow believe we still take the very best with us... and this just goes to prove that I am not alone in my thinking... well done Mr. Yeats! |

Bill--This IS a very touching poem.. and you know I agree with the sentiment...Love does not stop against the wall of death, but lives on in so many ways. |

I am lacking words to say how this one touches me today ... the sentiments and romantic sincerity is poetic perfection sir. love this one ... muchly jm Some people find subtlety in strangers if you find anything~let me in Your eyes~you see everything my eyes~I see it all together now~and I know |

This is a beautiful poem that reminds us that not even death can seperate us from those we love. Thanks for sharing. "Where there is great love there are always miracles" -Cather "Love heals everything, and love is all there is"- Zukav |

"we'll have eternity" thank you for those words....wow and yes, many who can't be together should think on this...it can make all of the difference some days. "Every man dies. Not every man truly lives." Braveheart Kathleen |
