His Cowboy Boots

Did you know there is magic in his cowboy boots?
Tales of lonely trails and many truths.
Yes, his boots tell a tale about his life,
That has been filled with happiness and hellish strife.

They can weave you a verse of heartfelt lines,
Giving you a kaleidoscope of many designs.
They are filled with wishes made on starlit nights,
So full of the wonder of many delights.

They can tell you a story of a life filled with pain,
Which made his walk worth all that he's gained.
They can paint you a picture filled with love,
Which surely was sent from the heavens above.

One would never guess, just from a glance,
Of the life he has lived by taking a chance.
He has lived a full life, he has gone full round,
Yet he kept his feet planted firmly on the ground.

So, can you see why I say there is magic in his boots?
Tales of lonely trails and many truths.
For his boots tell a tale about his life,
That has been filled with happiness and hellish strife.

*Dedicated to our "Resident Cowboy"... ~LL~

Great poem, Lady Lightning! This was filled with great voice and expression! Yes, everything and everyone has a story to tell, and the cowboy botts are filled with stories of many escapades and journies. Thank you for sharing, my friend!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Cowboy came and read the best
from Balladeer to all the rest
then in simple, majestic style
wrote a line, made us smile

then in a galloping, straight sort of way
into the ladies hearts he strayed...and stayed...

LL, this is wonderful love it really is, and I'm sure it suits him. Not that I'd know anything about cowboys, fruit farmers, oast houses, castles, great manor houses, and monastries yes. (We have the highest percentage of all of those in and around this part of Kent) But cowboys we are sadly lacking.
This is an absolutely brilliant piece from you love. First class
Take care

Oh and I love it of course

Take back the hope you gave,- I claim

*sigh* I loved this magical poem about a wonderful man and poet. There are many cowboys where I live but none have the heart of Passions resident cowboy. *sigh* a wonderful tribute indeed. Much love to you from me.
