Cliché à La Mode
~*Marge Tindal*~

Slice me off a piece of that Cliché pie.
On my plate now pile it high.
I'll devour it with a crystal spoon of sigh,
'Til I can feast my eyes no more.

Oh, the scrumptious flavor,
Cliché à la mode I will savor.
My appetite will not waver,
'Til I can read no more.

Give me just a little of that Cliché
to get me up and on my way.
I'm gonna love it more each day.
Cliché - Cliché - Cliché, I say !

Oh ! And do you deliver ?

A nice variable on the more mundane things in life.  Great rhyme scheme.

It's great to see you enjoy cliches. Man you have so many posts!!! I say it's good to like cliches because there are just so damn many of them.

StarGOAT~
Thanks for the read.

Serenity~
I LOVE the Cliché Of The Day ! !

The neatest thing about them -
is that we can all relate !
Now isn't that a nice fare
to put upon your plate ?

EagleScorpion~
They are indeed scrumptious !

A poem in time saves minds
A verse in the head is better than two in the book
You can't write your heart and fake it too
A poem saved is a poet earned

All I was going to say was "...and no calories..."

OK, I confess. I used a cliche once. Hey, I just followed my intuition. Nobody's perfect. Besides, the devil made me do it! It happens to the best. I had good intentions! It just seemed like a good idea at the time, you know? God knows I'm sorry.. oh, well tomorrow nobody will remember..that's life.

Just remember...

It IS good !
The nicest thing about Cliché is - that when we serve it up ...
EVERYONE can figure out what's on the menu !

Wilfred~

Kathleen~
