No Longer Counting Sheep
~*Marge Tindal*~

Lost without the sleep of you
How I count the sheep of you
Little Bo Peep and Little Boy Blue
Wagging tails and haystacks too

Wandering lost through meadows deep
Where's the love that looks after the sheep
I fear he's gone elsewhere to sleep
Nothing left here in his keep

Leave him alone - he's gone to roam
Sounding horns of his own
Nothing I can do to bring him home
I'm through losing count
of the Fairy Tale of you

The metaphors are alive and well in the pen of Marge!  Love it Marge..."I'm through losing count....of the fairy tale of you." I love those lines!

A poem worthy of Mother Goose.... I enjoyed this much.  Incidently, I do know a "Good Shepherd" but I think that you already know how to get hold of Him.   Bob <><

I shall never even try to be like you...I can only be me...

for you outshine us with your wit...

Whenever you lie in bed at night
As sleepy night-time nears
Instead of sheep, you silly girl
Try counting Balladeers!

You only need to count to one.
There won't be no suspense
By that time you'll see Balladeer
Jumpin' over your fence!

So have that window open wide
And take down all those bars
If you count once to Balladeers
You'll soon be counting stars!!!

I know onesies are most easy
Thus would be simple and so please-y
But truth be told, one need count much harder
If one see the number of philanderer(s)

So lady take the only leap
Safer far than counting sheep
The truest onesie's to behold
And worthy of your heart of gold

Guess who
