Listening to every heart

'Tis One Love

to come
from darkness
into the light
as shadows lift
from the night
as peace settles
in and all is right
and love has crested
in eye's sight

in purple shadows of passions light

as the valley
below the mount
gives me shelter
I shall count
on the one true love
that I know of
in the lee of his heart
the words he imparts
this one love

in golden glow of passions might

so beneath the light
in water's fall
'neath rainbow high
God, my sigh
shall reach his ear
he shall hear
the want of me
'tis heavenly
this one love

*sighing over here*  I love your blend...I am not good at a smooth rhyme...and I love the way this flow so perfectly...

I'm envious...of your word...and of the feeling behind them...

Beautifully done...

and in between
the calm inside me
in the space

Kari, Persephone love, this is totally stunning, it truly is. You just get better, I said before that you had transcended to a higher plane, well you've just leaped again. Truly amazingly gorgeous work love. Wonderful
and yes I adore it too,
Take care

Beautiful in all respects my friend - especially loved the last four lines...

"he shall hear
the want of me
'tis heavenly
  this one I love."

...and the beauty continues to flow from your pen, sunshine. What a mood you set!!

I agree with J Wesley..."hear the want of me"..what a powerful phrase that is. This is beautiful...

I thought I heard "the want of me" from my ex-wife - but it was only gas!

Koko, sometimes one just has to see an image, and the words flow...so I thank you for your insight...

Marsha, the higher plane has always been there, and I am just now beginning to touch it...you my friend, are a STAR...

James,...thank you...having one's words repeated, indeed, to hear them back, is the greatest compliment...

'Deer...sorry about the smell...

Ethome...I shall ray upon you always, as long as passions lives....and you have a wonderful holiday too...
