Listening to every heart

From Lips of The Whisperer

to mine ears come his words so sure
from his lips, he, the Whisperer,
     tender pensiveness of melody
meant to be heard by only me

O listen listen, my heart sings
     sonnets upon sonnets do ring
        free'd verse rhythmically sweeps
me to passionate depths, I weep

soft warm breath to lobe of mine
        intoxicatingly spoken, sublime
when there is this, no need for wine
enchanting me, does he, for all time…

to mine ears come his words ever sure
from his lips, he, the Whisperer…

Wonderful write!  You have certainly captured the effect some people (or special people) have upon us through their words. Cheering!!

Oh Sunshine, the way your poem just flowed  and how the expression in presentation kinda scroll danced atop the page had me amazed...

I had to take another peak before I closeup on this reply just to make sure my eyes were not deceiving me if you know what I mean...

I tell ya sweetie this is a splendid read...

Kindasorta, thank you for sharing your thoughts...

Hey Nate...so am I...thanks for listening so closely...

Coco, the presentation does sort of have a pathway feel to it, doesn't it...thank you!...

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

This is so beautiful, Karilea! Your words are like feathers falling from the air...softly floating down to land on one's heart. I LOVE this poem...that's why I'm shouting!
