   Your thoughts meet mine
   like quartered rhyme.
(If I could dance, I'd dance for you...)
   Wish you could play piano,
so I could sing the blues.
Wish I could take my pen--
   re-write the truth untrue.
Wish I could light a candle,
   and incantate "Undo..."

   If I could summon angels,
I'd send every one to you.

   If you would play piano,
I'd have no need of blues.

(from Open #5)

Serenity~

The songing
of longing
rings so true
captured in
the rhyme of you
Sing on
sing true
There is no
need for
shaded blue
Within your song
of sing-along
captured in the notes
of thee
Ah, she said
please ...
play for me ...

You know if it sings - I loved it !

As always, it is a pleasure to read your works.  By the way, I though I was the only one who could summon angels...now if I could only keep them around.  Well done.

Ah serenity, now, this is what I like, twisting the words to form opposite of the meanings...

well done little one!
