I'm A Loser

Karilea is a keeper, she keeps lots of special things
She keeps hope and love alive as to them both she sings
Now I'm just the opposite, I'm afraid I have to say
I've lost my keys and my car, I've often lost my way
It's not very funny looking for whatever it is I seek
You want to know what it's like, fine come take a peek

Imagine going shopping and then you lose the car
I'd have walked home but honestly it was a bit too far
I've arrived home from work and been as tired as can be
Tried to open the door and then found I've lost the key
And have you noticed when you lose any little thing
Well, where did you last see it, is the song they all sing

I've traveled to places on holiday doesn't everyone
But mostly they end up going to find some decent sun
When I've gone traveling I'm lucky if I arrive at all
It's much safer if I'm expected to give me a little call
I once got on a plane thinking I was going to go to Rome
Madrid is where I found myself a long way from my home

And there's the Channel Tunnel it's close to me you see
So how did I arrive in Belgium that's what puzzels me
I just had to put the car on the train as simple as that
So why was my car the one who's front was kinda flat
And shopping do you know I've even lost the trolley
So I grabbed another leaving them to sort out my folly

So when I say I'm a loser it's no more than the facts
I can't hold onto anything, I'm hopeless and very lax
Someday I will sort this problem for once and for all
I'll not lose everything I'll learn the art of total recall
If I started to put things back where they all belong
Oh my! I've lost it, would stop being my constant song

Marsha,
you are not a loser at all, you may not be a finder but you are definitely a winner.
Write strong, muse song.

Kethry love, I knew you'd say that, and I'll just remind you of that when I next lose something.
Well, I'm certainly a winner when it comes to having the best friends and they have the best talent. (Now why can't I take you along with me to this New Year's dinner thing, I'd win for sure.   )
Thank you love,
Take care

Kari love, did it bring a smile ?   It was supposed to. (Although I can see my sisters capping each of my tales with some really awful stories! And not one of then is true love I swear!! They all lie   )
Take care kid

One of these days I'm going to contact ALL of your sisters just to see who can spin the biggest yarn!

Marsha? You struck a chord in me with this...smiling over here...I am NOTORIOUS--lose things constantly...AND? I've got a horrible sense of direction (They call me MS. MAGOO...) and further? I know I am going to get a thousand organizers for Christmas...and I will lose every one...

sighs, grin, and hugs to you!

Kari love, ask me I'll tell, and it'll be the truth too. No apocryphal tales for you, I promise.
Are you ready

Penelope ..... would tell you how I went to the airport to see a girlfriend off on holiday and went with her. Great way to travel with no luggage at all. She had a spare ticket, what could I do say no!

Patricia ........ would tell of the time I followed a car thinking it was likely going to the hypermarket in Calais and crossed the border into Belgium. She was sitting beside me say surely it's not this far!!

Francessca ...... would blacken my name because I made her get in a car for a lift to a restaurant. This was in Germany, and no one told me that the Restaurant was in the middle of the Black Forrest. (Lord alone knows what she thought was going to happen     ) We got there what is she moaning about, maybe the four other occupants of the car who were all strange men. They were too, very strange, I wouldn't have got in a 50 acre field with them) !

Marcella ........ would tell you that I pushed her out of a tree, (It wasn't high honestly)

Melisa .......... would tell you that I lost her on a bus. Well it was a coach but it was an accident.

See there is nothing to tell you.

Take care

Kaile, it's just one of those things, I simply can't help it. What can I say, guilty as charged, and since I've admitted it now can people just accept it.
Thank you

Circe, thank you love, i am glad it's not just me. And I can't help it I really can't. The best description is scatty, but only when it comes to directions, or remembering where I've put something. Take care kid
