Metaphysical Mist

see, what happens is
I shall grow old ~
ancient of limb,
my skin, grow cold
and I shall only recall
once of shy and tall
that day I was kissed
in the physical mist

the love transcended
all of love's intentions
so great was the charm
and we saw no harm
being each one of two
of the most blessed
'tis why it was I then
loved him the best

he came late to this lass
some seasons had passed
still one season left to come
to her he swift did run
all pasts left behind
only him on her mind
their love never blind
pure treasures of kind

so late, this loving season
they'd known long the reason
a relationship never physical
more on the mystical
where love therein trickled
they reached far inside
where true love resides
reaching for the metaphysical

they took essential reality
blending charming duality
with supernaturality
transcending all the planes
there, their love remained
so shimmering fine
like sparkling red wine
commingling minds

see, what happens is we
shall grow old ~
ancient of limb,
our skin, grow bold
and we shall recall
reliving days tall
that day we kissed
in metaphysical mist

how do I do it? All I know, little one, is that I have asked Him several times to forgive me...and then asked Him to allow me to forgive others...

and then I share my experiences...

and then He gifts me with wondrous mysteries...

I hope you understand...there is a reason I am here...I don't know what it is...and I may becoming a little maudlin, but hey, you asked...soft laugh and when asked, I always answer...

thank you Doreen, for being the inspiration that you are!

Hugs,

Ah - a 'Misty' "September Song" of sorts - from one who's only in the July of her life.
but so perfectly wrought crafted with such heartfelt beauty it resonates in my very core like a tuning fork that does not die.
Mist or no mist metaphysical or real - I see clearly.

Well written verse Sunshine.  To join on both the physical and the metaphysical, could we ask for more?

Wonderful vocab in this one Sunshine...I love this verse......
"They took essential reality
blending charming duality
with supernaturality
transcending all the planes
there, their love remained
as shimmering fine
like sparkling red wine
commingling minds."

I just got to love it... the whole piece is a beautiful creation....and you'll never be invisible to me when you write like this sweetheart!!

Kari love, how do you write beauty and truth so well? And I'll answer because you have been given a gift, it is as ageless as time itself. You have the gift of bringing that part of yourself, the inner core, and allowing it to find expression. You will never be any older to me, and I expect to all the family here, than Persephone herself. Eternally Spring, because you see with wonder within your eyes, you hear with love in your heart, and you feel with the light of truth. (And I am not being bias, I speak the clear truth, as always.) Ask my sisters they will tell you, that I only ever say what I feel. (And then they throw something at me, preferably a hard and heavy something.)
You know that this is utterly divine, and wonderful don't you love. And that I love it, I really do.
Take care

Mr. Yeats, how kind of you to shave a decade or so off my time...I shall remember that...and thank you for reading...and I'm glad you saw through the mist...

John R, I believe not...thank you...

KoKo...thank you...I've still a long way to go before my poetry pleases me...

But Ethome, if I always write like that, I would be boring some after awhile, No? but I so appreciate your kind words, thank you...

Marsha [x2] for you, I shall be Persephone...and I will read up on her and write one of Spring just for you...thank you...
