A soft glow glimmer
of shapeless obscurity
transcends outer silk
covered beauty in flux
which by virtue
should hold grace
and fails in style
as time holds nothing.
But, look at the glimmer
quickly caress the sand
of a floating ocean
that glistens in space
whereupon nothing fails
short of tragedy
coming to pass
in lazy circles.
Yet the glimmer,
still fresh, still wanting
would like to hold
onto something less substantial
with all the perks
of a committed felon
out of a Hollywood movie
transposed for your pleasure.
So the glimmer rests
inside the arms of space
wondering if all is lost
or simple things forgotten
to fade, to sleep
to fall dreaming
against the shore itself
that agitates its soul.

Michael G,
to fade to sleep, to fall to dreaming. What cool words these are.
Write on

excellent writing, has a magical feel to it.

"In the shadowplay, acting out your own death, knowing no more
As the assassins all grouped in four lines, dancing on the floor" Joy division
