Brown leaves swirling in the air
Landscape gray, brown and white
Shadows in corners everywhere
Nothing clear in fog-blurred night
Just below the surface lies
Iceburg debris floating on top
Wait for unsuspecting eye
To drench and freeze the feet
Flurries of ice-tinged snow
Freezing on poles and lines
Trees naked limbs covered with ice
Raise skeletal arms to implore daybreak
The sun blaze burns away the fog
AS golden sunlight filters through
Sparkling rainbows in prism squares
The world glistens in winter's light

Visual delight from beginning to end.  I just love a poem filled with imagery and you have penned a real beauty here.  Wonderful thing about how nature works...just like life and love, there are dormant periods followed by the blossoming of new beauty.

A life with love will have some thorns, but a life without love will have no roses.

Pepper,
I love it when you paint winter in such spectral colours.
Write on, Belong.
