The wheel has turned
You're traveled on
To a different plane
To a different zone
Those left behind
Somewhat perplexed
The heart does grieve
While the soul rejoices
Left behind to stumble on
Without your smile
Without your song
Selfishly we wish you here
Yet you've moved along
To honor you
This is our vow
To live our lives
As you would wish
Smile with joy
When we hear your name
And be at peace
For you still remain.

In loving memory of my aunt, who has left us to travel on.....
For you who had so much to do with who and what I am today....I miss you so.....

Thank you SP...it's getting better each day...yes, you are right, she is in a better place, much better!!

SEA, thank you, that helps a lot...it was so sudden...though I guess that hardly matters, one is never actually prepared...

Thanks for the hugs, Victoria, I can use them   I'm glad to be back too...this place heals me somehow

Thank you too serenity

Truly this is what makes this place so wonderful.....all such caring people

Pepper, I've missed you love, this is a brilliantly written poem. It is so hard to think of but I know as surely as today will become tomorrow, that she is with you always. Whenever you think of her she is there. I send you my love and my smile, and many warm hugs to you. It does ease, it's not that you forget but that the memories you hold are so precious.
take care of yourself love

peppermint,

Many of us have felt a loss such as yours.  All you can do is hang on to those memories that remain my friend.  My prayers are with you at this difficult time.

My heart goes out to you for your pain and
loss...her light will continue to shine as
long as your heart beats on...may you find
comfort in the gifts she left behind for you
to hold.  Take care of you and yours
Pepper...and give that new grand baby a
squeeze for me
