Collecting There are many who collect Stamps, coins, Antiques, or porcelains This and that The list is endless Collections of stamps That have never been used Dust collecting On the favorite sea shells Coins are placed in books For all time You open and glance Measure worth of the dime They die and it's Left to another My collection more vital Alive and well I say No moss on its feet No dust on its crown My collection is one Who's worth grows by the minute To me it's worth the world And everything that's in it I'm collecting thoughts of you They gather like the dew Once there were very few But I give you your due Now countless how they grew It's a full time occupation 'Twill last past graduation Yet I'll ne'er reach satiation For you're my rock and my foundation I've thoughts sweet and tender Thoughts that you did render When I felt so blue I've got thoughts witty and loving When we were turtle dove-ing And you know I had them too. So take a look at my collection And did I fail to mention I value them more priceless than the stars For they sustain me in my sadness And they keep me from madness Whether home or caught in traffic full of cars They're my thoughts of YOU There are places inside our souls - that have never been touched. There are places inside our hearts - that need to be loved this much. ~Janet Mar |

Mr. Yeats, you knew I would like this very, very much... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |
