A peach of streak across the sky, caressed, a bless, cornflower blue, liquid lava light surprise as yellow steals the night away yearning, turning, satin sway, tears of teal, to slap my eyes... and no, I'm not the least surprised, that you would look the other way... (repost from Corner Pub) |

*eager grins* Me liked this one bunches! Let me tell ya why! First of all, when you described your colors, you didn't just state your colors, you painted them in the most awesome words imagineable! Second of all, your internal rhyming and alliteration were fantastic! Third of all, the personification of "yellow" sunrise was very good! Fourth of all, you incorporated a very profound conclusion into what I thought was going to be "just" a great imagery poem! And finally, anything that I might have missed for some splendiferous reason was exceptional, to say the least, I'm sure! *grins* Love ya, me "Satan is my motor." - Cake |

Serenity.... You've taken a blank canvas and splashed it with your hues, thoughts and words, and painted a picture I can understand. Fabulous work you've framed! ~Sheri "The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first" |

a colorful conclusion. Could it be scarlet? Well done! Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |

Serenity~ Well now, I'm thinking that you've splashed the softest array of colors across the canvas. Here's hoping the 'tears of teal' are dried. Sending *Hugs* your way. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

I think I remember this poem and it still packs the same powerful punch it did first time round. excellent poem. "an afixiation a fix on anything the line of life the limb of a tree the hands of he and the promise that s/he is blessed among women". Patti Smith |

serenity, Loved the imagery here. Brilliant colors. I detect a hint of sadness in this. The ending is very powerful my friend. Nice writing. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
