It has finally come,
The time has arrived!
I am leaving this place,
So full of heartache and sorrow,
To journey home,
The dwelling place of my chastity.
Oh, how I've longed for it!
And, oh, how the burdens of life
Have driven me away!
I'll stay forever;
Once I arrive,
I will never leave again!
The place of old,
The harbor of past obsessions.
It's where I'll be;
My heart will stay.
Oppression will no longer
Keep me down;
No more will the tears of insecurity
Drown me each night.
I am free--
Free of this world I leave behind.
I won't look back;
I'll keep on walking--
Walking to my stake of independence.

'cause I am hanging on every word you say, and, even if you don't want to speak tonight, that's alright, alright with me...

YOU GO GIRLIE!!!!!  Hold that head up and give the world what it has been waiting for. That would be you and you new found strength as you realize YOU ARE worth more than just a quick climpse.  Loved the sureness in this one my friend.

Mark:  thank you, my friend.  You know I appreciate your always-encouraging words!

JM:  well, thank you!  This is an older one, written in '95, but something I 'sorta' was feeling today!  Thanks!!

I echo Mark and JM on this one...and I admire the resilience and fortitude that is evident in this piece. A testament to inner healing, my friend!

Wonderful writing. I find my place I call home to be where ever I am. My happiness is in my own mind. I find if I cant make my self happy then no one else can. Where ever Im happy is home. I wish you all the luck in the world.
Love and light,
Richard
