It's A Funny Day For A Rainbow ~*Marge Tindal*~  It's a funny day for a rainbow Though the colors are bright with hue God sent a sprinkle of rain With a smattering of sun shining through  So I'm skittering across the rainbow Fleet of feet in gaiety prancing Though it's a funny day for a rainbow I sure do feel like dancing  Up jump Jolly Jingle Why I believe I see Kris Kringle It's a funny day for a rainbow And I'm seeing things of delight Dasher, Prancer and Vixen Readying for the flight Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen Dancer waiting with Rudy Red And his nose so bright  It's a silly day for a rainbow But I'll take it come what may Take my hand and dance with me Across the rainbow of the day  For some there are snowflakes falling And Kisstletoe to be hung I'm basking in the sunshine With shopping yet to be done  It's a perfect day for a rainbow So join me in merry measure Stepping out in Holiday Greetings With friends of gold to treasure  It's a funny day for a rainbow Singing carols so merrily Jump on board the rainbow I've much for you to see  Candy canes and oranges Stockings to be stuffed Children waiting just to see If they've been good enough  It's a funny day for a rainbow And it offers so much more A celebration of the baby's birth And hearts with love galore  Take this one-time offer Join me in a song It's a funny day for a rainbow And I've invited you along ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

It's a funny day for a rainbow and I've been invited along. It's a great day to let all pain go and join Marge in a song. I t may be short and may be sweet but once you fall right into it you'll just have to move your feet with your heart like a musical movement. I think it's a wonderful day for a rainbow after reading Marge Tindal's poem.... yipee!! I'm off to dance through the hues with my muse!! love it Marge!! |
