Love, Come Anon The battle rages within and the night fills with endless sighs. I have held the rose, seen blood drip from its silver thorns, tasted the salt of tears drowning in love's debris and heard the voice of sin ringing in my ears. Let me drink from the waters of Lethe and let my memories on the winds of AElus be scattered. Let death be my release from pain, if love be the curse, bringing to my ears the whisper of her voice, as only an echo of the past. If a dream touches us, it exists to us as anything else that touches us. |

Another one very well done! I love the idea and the flow through...this certainly isn't your first stop at the poetry well to draw from the words of life.....or cliched you didn't just fall off the turnip truck! |

There is an enchantment in this, I can't explain it, but it seems haunting. I enjoyed it very much. "If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you." Winnie the Pooh |

John R Let death be my release from pain, if love be the curse, bringing to my ears the whisper of her voice, as only an echo of the past. so many times I had felt this...only with his voice instead...you expressed yourself well...thank you for sharing your feelings ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |
