Hardened Tears

Heavily sent, this early morn
the hardened tears from heaven's eyes
awakening in darkened dreams
of thunder rolling, beating sighs.

Thoughts of missing, holding arms
kisses once, or twice before
overpowering sense of touch
the thunder rolls, still wanting more.

Flooding now, a heart that yearns
to fill this way, to pound for love
a feel to last throughout from you
each reigny day that mysts above.

Sometimes I pray the answers come
but deep inside the heart does know
time will offer what it can
when moving forward in this, life's "show".

Today I press my thoughts to you
remembering, I love you much
the brush of hair above my brow
from gentle hands that sweep loves touch.

The way you look into my eyes
questioning the moves I make
each one causes one more day
to pass me by, the hurts they take.

Another roar has reached within
like fires furnace, rising heat
turning thoughts that flood to mist
leaving words, "till next we meet".

~Wynter

Reading twice, the play on words is wonderful...well done Wynter...

Evening Wynter,

Yes, I feel as I read the words, you have left a mark. Very nice, and keep writing.

Well written. Time is cruel when you are not with the one you love.
