I really don't know if I should even share my first poem as I know its probably horrid. As I said my love, Crag, inspired me to write this. I have to share it with someone and I can't share it with him.. I don't have the courage. The only thing I could think of was to put it here. Ugh, sorry  How I long to be with you. Like a powerful and demanding storm choosing its own path... I choose you. A child screaming for candy.. my heart and soul scream for you. It's pure and fresh.. a cool wet spring in the simmering dry summer heat. I was once like a fallen dead leaf. Tired, drained, and lost among the wind. Carelessly I floated around no particular course in mind. You stumbled upon me entering my life.. bringing a smile to my face like the crash of lightning brings light to a dark stormy night sky. You transformed me seemingly overnight. Joy filled my heart as mountains fill the sky... Dreams of you at night.. My arms reaching out to you.. a young flower reaching for the bright morning sun. My life has no begun. Whirling winds... My mind swirls.. The confusion of it all... Why can't I be near you? Why? Thousands of miles between us.. I've never felt closer... I see the world in a new light.. like a blind man who can see.. you've awakened me... No words can fully describe what my heart seeks to tell you... I long to touch you.. to show you how wondeful you truly are. A brush of lips, my heart leaps.. Only in my dreams can this be true... Until we meet, my precious, know forever that I love you... Like time... never-ending. |

I see why my poem touched you. Yours touches me the same way. However one should never fear love and expressing yourself to the one you love should never be feared. Open your words to him and let him inside. |

Thank you all so very much for your kind words. Maybe after a little time I can gather to the courage to share this with him. I'm a rather timid person when it comes to things like this.
